Finias, 14 yrs old with the cattle herd he looks after 24 hrs a day. Finias' father is dead, he supports his mother and siblings by working every day away from home tending the herd and sleeping by them. He misses his mother desperately and is able to visit her perhaps once a month. Bulala, Malawi.

The Lifidzi Womens support group and Girls club meet regularly to discuss any problems they may have. The Womens group was founded by Victoria Munthali, a woman who suffered domestic abuse in her first marriage. Victoria's daughter Dorica Mbiche,14 runs the Girls Club. Both Groups are supported by ActionAid. Lifidzi school, Malawi.

Gelinesi Mzoza and Esnart Biziweki harvest crops in the Lifidzi fields, Malawi. The women were able to buy The crop seeds with funds provided through an ActionAid Income generating Scheme.
